My Random Poem

If you use your imagination
You will see that everything is awesome
With a little creation
Your mind will blossom 
Even though this may sound cheesy
It took a lot of thought
To make something like this is sure not easy
With your imagination you can be an astronaut 
If you want you can reach the stars 
If you want you can even fly 
If you believe I will give you some chocolate bars 
But just remember if you believe you can soar the sky
So if you read our blog you will see
You can be anything you want to be

 

My Mother took me skating

 

 

My mother took me skating

and we glided on the ice,

I wasn't very good at it

and stumbled more than twice.

My mother made a figure eight,

and since it seemed like fun,

I tried a little trick myself

and made a figure one.

 

I feel this poem is awesome because it shows a young kid going outside of her comfort zone.

 

 

 

 

 

I have a face for every group
None of them are the same
I switch back and forth so much
I have forgotten what the true me is

I hide my secrets
I hide my shame
I hide the hate that builds in me

I tell lies to people
and then turn away
my face so they don't see the truth.

These people I am are just facades
that I trade and swap at every place
what i would give to turn back time
and to find out what truly is my face.    

 

I feel this poem is awesome because she is letting out her emotions and saying she isn't perfect.
